Sherlock Holmes, Swimming, and Supernatural
My dear Tara and I spent a wonderous day together.
It began with a glorious text conversation in which we RP’ed Sherlock Holmes and John Watson, as she is the Sherlock to my John.
First, we watched RDJ & Jude Law be awesome in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, then we talked about our plans for LeakyCon and solidified stuff for going. After a wonderful bit of swimming with Erica, we ate a delicious dinner, then watched season 6, episode 17 of Supernatural (My Heart Will Go On). After we finished causing our feelings pain, we ran out for fro-yo. We then proceeded to marathon the rest of season 6. I cried. A couple of times. Sadly, I then had to leave as I had a 22 minute drive across town to get home and it was nearing 2am. However, this means that I only have to watch season 7 before I am caught up.
So now all I have to do is discover a way to do that online.
Oh and Tara gave me a compliment that made me cry a little. I said I wanted to come visit her at school this year and that the best part of me doing so was that I could bring her bagels from my workplace. She replied with, “Bagels are nice, but I think the best part would be your company.” And I teared up. It’s been a really long time since someone has said something like that to me. Is it any wonder why she is the Sam to my Dean?
This was a wonderful day, and it was something I sorely needed.
